Invu Purchasing Process Report 2016
Invu surveyed 206 Finance workers (Finance Directors, Chief Financial Officers, Finance Controllers and Finance Managers) across medium sized businesses asking how their businesses managed the invoice processing of purchased goods and services, the daily challenges they face and their view on protection against fraud with the tools at their disposal.
The research identifies that many medium sized businesses have a business problem that needs fixing, namely a lack of timely visibility and control over spending.
- 57% report that they are unhappy with the effectiveness of their purchasing process
- 44% report having to delay the production of their monthly management accounts due to slow processing of supplier invoices they had already received
- 83% report they were not always paying their suppliers on time
Annual User Conference & Summer Roadshows
Our Annual User Conference and Summer Roadshows were well attended during 2016. Both events were designed to inform and educate customers with the latest developments at Invu, as well as giving the opportunity to network with other Invu users and find out how they are utilising our range of solutions.

Invu Product Updates
The latest version of Invu, version 6.11 was released back in May delivering the following new features and enhancements:
- Office 2016 – Full support for the Office Addin & Email Assistant.
- Invu Document Delivery Portal – Publishing of documents to a cloud portal for delivering/sharing externally.
- Drag & Drop via Email Assistant – The Email Assistant has been enhanced to allow filing of email and/or attachments via a drag & drop mechanism
The new Delivery Portal feature allows temporary publishing of documents to a cloud location from Series 6. Documents published to the portal will have a configurable limited lifespan. As such, the primary documents in question are Proof of Delivery (PODs) whereby they only need to be available for a given length of time.
Clients (Customers) will have their own areas in the Delivery Portal site. Clients are then able to logon, view and download documents in their specific areas, they also have the ability to search for documents published and downloaded.
Drag & Drop via Email Assistant
Drag and Drop allows users to index emails by dragging and dropping them onto drop targets. The emails are then indexed with the metadata shown in the list item. List items are displayed in a new pane in Outlook.

Macmillan Coffee Morning & Octobeardfest 2016
This year Invu was proud to take part in raising money for two worthwhile causes, Macmillan Cancer Support and OctoBeardFest16.
A number of Invu employees took part in the coffee morning with a vast array of cakes, biscuits and cheescakes on offer. Discovering we had a lot of ‘sweet tooths’ in the office helped us raise £117 for the charity.
Tim Newman, Sales Director at Invu once again put down the razor and grew a beard for the month of October in support of OctoBeardFest16.
Each year in the UK 40,000 men are told they have Prostate Cancer & 11,000 will die from the disease, that’s 1 man every hour.
